Nasco nel 1979 e vivo a Paliano, un piccolo paese del frusinate.

Mi avvicino alla fotografia nel 2001 e da allora continuo a esplorarla come un linguaggio complesso, immediato e profondamente umano. Fotografare, per me, significa osservare ciò che spesso resta ai margini: una luce, un gesto, un volto, un dettaglio capace di raccontare più di quanto sembri.

Cerco immagini che non siano semplicemente belle, ma sincere. Immagini capaci di evocare una storia, un’emozione, una presenza.

Come scriveva John Hedgecoe:

“La fotografia è probabilmente fra tutte le forme d’arte la più accessibile e la più gratificante. Può registrare volti o avvenimenti oppure narrare una storia. Può sorprendere, divertire ed educare. Può cogliere, e comunicare, emozioni e documentare qualsiasi dettaglio con rapidità e precisione.”

La fotografia resta, per me, un modo per guardare meglio. E forse anche per capire meglio.

I was born in 1979 and I live in Paliano, a small town in the province of Frosinone, Italy.

I discovered photography in 2001 and since then I have continued to explore it as a complex, immediate and deeply human language. For me, taking photographs means observing what often remains unnoticed: a light, a gesture, a face, a detail capable of telling more than it seems.

I look for images that are not only beautiful, but honest. Images able to evoke a story, an emotion, a presence.

As John Hedgecoe wrote:

“Photography is probably the most accessible and most rewarding of all art forms. It can record faces or events, or tell a story. It can surprise, amuse and educate. It can capture and communicate emotions and document any detail with speed and precision.”

Photography remains, for me, a way to look more carefully. And perhaps, also, to understand more deeply.
